A 2011 Chevy Camaro!  What a nice ride! Somehow I just knew it was mine. Ok, I found
the keys in my jacket pocket and hit the unlock button until I heard the beep, but it’s mine.
Blue with super dark tinted windows and awesome leather seats.

My second instinct is to make a run for it, but I won’t do what they expect. My first instinct
makes me stay put and check out what’s in my car.

Let’s see what we have here. A couple of cases, duffle bags, and what looks like a
computer bag. I open the PC bag and pull out a black and blue laptop. I fire it up only to be
stopped at the login screen. I have no idea what the password is.  Where’s my instinct now?

I close the laptop and set it aside, then investigate the other bags and cases. I find an
empty pistol case, ammo, a change of clothes and a cell phone.

I ‘m getting a little antsy, must be time to go. So far I have been running on instinct.
Trusting my brain that I know how to do the things it says I can do. By the time I decide to
follow my instincts again, I see Wendell and Austen show up in a black SUV.

I gun it and back out with a loud screech! I zoom for the exit with the SUV in close pursuit. I
curl around level after level taking layer after layer off of my tires. Those two are right on my
butt! Then I see the SUV overcorrect one way and then the other before spinning into a
parked car!  I slow down and continue my escape.

After reaching the bottom level and paying my toll, I merge with the local traffic. I continue
down the road – moving between slow pokes – then POW, I see Wendell and Austen crash
through the toll gate and out into the street! They spot me ahead and gun it! Then I gun it!
We weave through the multicolored maze of cars, minivans, service trucks and taxicabs to an
orchestra of car horns! I’m careful to avoid the other cars. My pursuers are not as
considerate! We rush through block after block. Me racking up near misses and them
sideswiping everything they can! I utilize an exceptionally slow driver to block the SUV. They
drop back about half a block before bumping the driver out of their way. I drift through a
yellow light and slow down to a normal speed. Mostly because of the two police cars I see
heading for the intersection to my right. The SUV screeches through the –now red- light and
almost T-bones one of the police cruisers! The patrol cars give chase as Wendell and Austen
duck down a side road to the left. The Officers are not fooled and continue after them.

I continue going straight and away from the trouble. What a lucky break! I think I’m going to
try to be normal for a while!

To be continued...
